Hoping there won’t be board meeting on April 17, 2021. If there’s a plan to have one, please consider postponing it.
Tigrayans and Eritreans will have one of the biggest join protest held in LA on April 17th. So far, we have 370 motorcycles confirmed and we’re expecting that number to grow. Overall, we’re expecting over 1,000 people to join us and we plan to shut down LA for hours that day. Given the size, all tv stations in LA will for the first time air it for us. CNN also have promised to cover it.
Lead contact is Gedion from the Eritrean side, Tekesta and myself (Mike) from the Tegaru side as well. Safety and crow control: I’ll be responsible for leading this group and we’ll have around 60 legally armed plane clothes law enforcement officers, from the LAPD, retired LAPD, military veterans from the California highway patrol and as well as from other agencies. We’re also planning to have 20 to 30 civilians who will be carry radio for crowd control and communication proposes. On Friday April 16th, I’ll have a meeting with Los Angeles Police for final planning and overview. To have encrypted communications, I’ll be setting up Signal group for those who will be part of the safety and crowd control.
If any of you would like to volunteer in safety and crowd control, please let me know. If we’re met with counter protests, we’re not to engage with them, period! The safety team and I will determine if we need law enforcement to intervene. However, our plan is to not engage with any counter protesters at all. Tigrayans and Eritreans will be advised to not engage with any counter protests and we hope everyone fight for Tigray will be mindful of our mission. We have a mission and we are not going to allow any counter protesters hijack our plan.
If you work in healthcare and you are either a doctor or a nurse. we would love for you to help us volunteer that day. We’re planning to have group of nurses and doctors to be readily available in the event that we have medical situation. I would appreciate it if you could please provide me your name and phone number so that we can coordinate and let you know where we would want you to be stationed.

Situation Report EEPA HORN No. 117 – 01 April 2021
Agreement between Eritrea and Ethiopia (as per 31 March)
– Martin Plaut, a journalist specialised on the Horn of Africa has published following report, received from inside Eritrea. It is reproduced verbatim.
- “1. No plans to pull Eritrean troops from Ethiopia – the press release by the Ethiopian government is propaganda and far from the truth. Eritrean forces will not leave Tigray.
- 2. What has been agreed is for 12 Division currently in Tigray to be assimilated with Ethiopian Defence Force immediately. This will be followed by the rest of Eritrean forces coming under Ethiopian command.
- 3. All Eritrean army uniforms in Tigray will change to Ethiopian Defence Force immediately.
- 4. One of Abiy’s delegates was Dr Abraham, security and spy expert, who will be responsible for the operations of both countries. He will align the necessary technological and satellite infrastructure of both countries.
- 5. On the Eritrean side, Brigadier General Simon Gebredingel has been assigned to work with Dr Abraham.
- 6. Current Eritrean Army Generals will be forced into retirement and replaced by Ethiopians.
- 7. Federation talks are said to start soon.”
– Much of this information supplements similar information that has come from Ethiopian sources. However none of it has been confirmed.
