Cover Letter of SJTE for Attached Documents on Several Pertinent Issues in Ethiopia

  Dear SJTE Chapters,

 

As you know, Tigrai is under series of conspired and open attacks of different forms and scope orchestrated by the illegal junta camped in the Menelik Palace. The illegal dictator Abiy Ahmed and his puppet institutions are intensifying their attack against Tigrai by the day. They are constantly reinforcing their ongoing acts of genocide against Tigrai.

Tigrai has no one to look for at this critical time in our history. As it has almost always been the case, Tigrai has only us; the Tigreans. Our people are fighting back on the battleground with great bravery and patriotism as always. SJTE has no doubt that everyone in the Diaspora, too, has been helping Tigrai to the best of one’s ability by every means possible. Albeit, SJTE would like to reiterate that the magnitude of the belligerence acts against Tigrai is increasingly becoming too grave to overcome them without commensurate responses from all of us. We must maximize our efforts to help our people.

In reference to this, SJTE is lobbying several international institutions on the current situation. SJTE has also been working with the Government of Tigrai to obtain some pertinent documents to substantiate our Lobbying efforts. These documents are also being submitted with our letter as enclosures. For your reference, we are hereby sharing (attached) all the documents with you so that you can tailor and send them to your respective representatives and any other institutions deemed apt. 

In the end, we have no doubt that the resilience and perseverance of Tigrai will prevail once again, and history is our witnesses on this.
