A call for peaceful demonstration and prayer service by religious fathers at the Mekele National Stadium in Mekele!

 Hi All,

This is a call for peaceful demonstration and prayer service by religious fathers at the Mekele National Stadium in Mekele! 

A letter to the UN and UN Security Council will be prepared in Tigrigna and English and read by a religious leader live at the stadium and distributed to the media!

I think a peaceful demonstration in Mekele is important and a must!

Here’s a list of demands that people can print on placards and carry with them to the demonstrations! Need to include the Eight-Point Peace proposal that was issued from the Elected Tigray Government! 

1. We Demand immediate withdrawal of Eritrean forces from Tigray now!

2. We Demand immediate withdrawal of Amhara forces from Tigray Now!

3. We demand immediate withdrawal of Ethiopian forces from Tigray now!

4. We demand UN Peacekeepers to protect us from Rape, War crime and Genocide Now!

5, We support the Elected Government of Tigray to be reinstated Now! 

6. We support the Eight-Point Peace proposal of our elected Government - UN Implement It Now!

7. Eritrean and Ethiopian armies Return our stolen properties now!

8. Full Access to Humanitarian Aid Now!

9. We demand our self administration Now! 

10. Ethiopian Banks Froze and Robbed our bank Accounts - That is Genocide! Full Access to our Bank Accounts in Tigray Now!

11. Abiy Return Tigray’s Federal budget now! It is our Tax money!

12. Restore Telecommunications and the internet now!

13. Restore the Territorial Integrity of Tigray Now!

14. UN send an International Independent Team to Tigray Now!    

14.1 UN Investigate war crimes, Genocide, Rape, Looting Now!

15. UN Free all our civilian and military people from jail now! 

15.1 Stop Extrajudicial imprisonments, killing, Now!

16. Stop Rape by Eritrean and Ethiopian Forces Now! Rape is war crime!

Placards to be carried by people in hoods! TMH need to transmit all these by inviting two people (activists) - say Meaza Gidey and Alula!  No burning of tires - Peaceful demonstration and Gathering of Mekele people at the Mekele Stadium.

17. Religious fathers to lead prayer services and speeches to demand key points and request for UN Peacekeepers and investigation of war crimes committed by Eritrean and Ethiopian armies as well as Amhara militias!

18. Press conference to be held at Planet Hotel in Mekele by Religious Leaders by inviting the International Media in the presence of selected Victims from Western Tigray, Adigrat, Aider Hospital (Rape, families of Extrajudicial killing, looting, other witnesses, etc.
