Dear SJTE Chapters and Tigrean Compatriots,
We hope that everyone is staying safe and well. As you know, a war against Tigrai is imminent. As stated by Dr. Debretsion, the illegal and traitor Abiy Ahmed has forged a front with the dictator Esayas Afewrki to launch a military attack against Tigrai.
SJTE is calling all Chapters and Tigrean compatriots for a very crucial meeting to discuss the current developments and set strategies on how to respond if the looming fiasco comes into reality.
Please be on standby for a possible emergency meeting call at any time if the situation warrants so.
Please also be prepared to take vacation time from work as we may have to constantly protest knocking on the doors of all relevant governmental and non-governmental institutions across the globe, appealing to them to make a meaningful intervention to stop this savage war of the 21st century.
In the meantime, let each Chapter of SJTE start brainstorming and discussing what could be done, at what scope, and how.
Finally, as always we must stay strong and focused. In the end, we have no doubt that the resilience and perseverance of Tigrai will prevail once again. “Where there is unity there is always victory,” said Publilius Syrus.

Cover Letter of SJTE for Attached Documents on Several Pertinent Issues in Ethiopia
Dear SJTE Chapters,
As you know, Tigrai is under series of conspired and open attacks of different forms and scope orchestrated by the illegal junta camped in the Menelik Palace. The illegal dictator Abiy Ahmed and his puppet institutions are intensifying their attack against Tigrai by the day. They are constantly reinforcing their ongoing acts of genocide against Tigrai.
Tigrai has no one to look for at this critical time in our history. As it has almost always been the case, Tigrai has only us; the Tigreans. Our people are fighting back on the battleground with great bravery and patriotism as always. SJTE has no doubt that everyone in the Diaspora, too, has been helping Tigrai to the best of one’s ability by every means possible. Albeit, SJTE would like to reiterate that the magnitude of the belligerence acts against Tigrai is increasingly becoming too grave to overcome them without commensurate responses from all of us. We must maximize our efforts to help our people.
In reference to this, SJTE is lobbying several international institutions on the current situation. SJTE has also been working with the Government of Tigrai to obtain some pertinent documents to substantiate our Lobbying efforts. These documents are also being submitted with our letter as enclosures. For your reference, we are hereby sharing (attached) all the documents with you so that you can tailor and send them to your respective representatives and any other institutions deemed apt.
In the end, we have no doubt that the resilience and perseverance of Tigrai will prevail once again, and history is our witnesses on this.
